The FOLR2/NFκB Reporter Lentivirus is designed to study signaling pathways downstream of folate receptor beta (FOLR2), which is highly expressed in macrophages associated with inflammatory and tumor environments. The construct constitutively expresses the FOLR2 receptor, which upon ligand binding, activates the NFκB pathway and drives reporter expression through secreted Gaussia luciferase (GLuc) and GFP. This system is suitable for studying macrophage activation, inflammatory signaling, or testing therapeutics targeting FOLR2. Researchers can also use it to study receptor engagement inhibition, which restores reporter activity by blocking FOLR2-mediated NFκB activation. This product is supplied as high-titer lentiviral particles (third generation), purified by PEG precipitation and sucrose gradient centrifugation. The lentiviral particles are VSV-G pseudotyped and optimized for difficult-to-transfect cells, including primary or thawed cells.

Can I purchase the plasmid for this product?
TF reporter products such as this one are not available in plasmid format. They are only available as high-titer lentiviral particles. Other gene products on our site, such as ORF cDNA and shRNA products are available in either format.
