miR-375-3p Lentivirus: miRNA lentiviral particles for expression of human/mouse miR-375 (3p). The lentiviral vector contains the entire human miRNA stem-loop, which leads to expression of the human/mouse common mature miRNA sequence in transduced cells. The miRNA lentivirus is ultra-purified and concentrated by PEG precipitation and sucrose gradient centrifugation, ideal for in vitro or in vivo use and transduction of difficult-to-transfect (e.g. thawed and/or primary) cells.

  • Superior vectors – LipExoGen miRNA Lentiviruses are produced using the third generation system and feature our own proprietary, high-quality vectors that have been optimized for high gene expression and reliable genome integration. All miRNA constructs contain the entire human miRNA stem-loop driven by U6 and PGK driven reporter plus drug selection marker separated by a self-cleaving peptide.
  • Superior accuracy – Polyclonal miRNA-transduced stable cells can be established within 10 days and used for downstream applications while preserving more properties of the parental cells.
  • Easily identify transduced cells – Our miRNA constructs contain both fluorescent reporter and drug selection marker, allowing transduced cells to be selected by puromycin/blasticidin or FACS sorting of GFP/RFP. Luciferase + GFP/RFP dual-reporters are also available upon request and can be used for detecting transduced cells in vitro or in vivo using luminescence-based techniques (for more details, contact us).

Entrez Gene Summary “microRNAs (miRNAs) are short (20-24 nt) non-coding RNAs that are involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression in multicellular organisms by affecting both the stability and translation of mRNAs. miRNAs are transcribed by RNA polymerase II as part of capped and polyadenylated primary transcripts (pri-miRNAs) that can be either protein-coding or non-coding. The primary transcript is cleaved by the Drosha ribonuclease III enzyme to produce an approximately 70-nt stem-loop precursor miRNA (pre-miRNA), which is further cleaved by the cytoplasmic Dicer ribonuclease to generate the mature miRNA and antisense miRNA star (miRNA*) products. The mature miRNA is incorporated into a RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), which recognizes target mRNAs through imperfect base pairing with the miRNA and most commonly results in translational inhibition or destabilization of the target mRNA.
